Wooden Hands for KinderGym
G'Day All,
My wife is head gymnastics coach at the local community.
She coaches with our daughter 3 KinderGym classes on Friday mornings.
I get to make all sorts of aids & props for the programs.
This term it's "the body" and I was asked to make a couple of hands.
As you've seen I do simple woodwork.
The kids will have to place rings on the fingers without knocking them over.
Good fun for me.
Enjoy your woodwork and relax.
Cheers, crowie

Those hands would make a great counting toy too! What are you using for the rings? Did you make them from wood too?

G'Day "keju",
Just used clear ply for cutting out the hands.
Firstly on the bandsaw the the bobbin sander & hand sanding before painting.
I needed help with the colour as that's an area in which I struggle, but they came out okay.
My wife has cut & painted foam tube for the rings.
Cheers, Crowie
