Wooden Pinball game
Gday
Years ago when I was a young fellah living in the UK I got to know some nice seniors on our road. This couple let me play with a homemade pinball game (it looked similar to this http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-ViewAdLar...%2F3d14_18.JPG ) that was very old. I am pretty sure the one I played was tilted on a rocker on the base, but I can't remember clearly
Does anyone out there know what the games were called and do you know of any plans for them? Has anyone here made any? And what features could be incorporated into them?
Any info would be good. I am thinking of a xmas prezzy for my yardape
Much thnx
Stretch

I am happy to hear that was what you wanted, if you find the time to build it please post a picture of the finished game.

I used to have long, long ago a pinball game made from chipboard with sprung clothes pegs on rubber bands as the flippers, nails with rubber bands as the bumpers and a pattern of holes drilled into the board - I spent many hours playing with it - can't remember who made it for me, my Dad or Grandad.

This is an interesing thread. There are some good variations on the bagatelle amongst those links.
You wouldnt really need plans for this sort of thing, jsut some ideas and a bit of imagination.

Bagatelle game
Thanks for this thread, I just made a version inspired by it! A late Xmas present for the kids.
Made from recycled Meranti and perspex, knob turned from blackbean and bumpers made of rubber bands. Overall about 600mm x 300mm. Had a few tuning problems, so added a few more nails; the table angle needs changing; and don't stick paper numbers down, some of the edges stop the marbles rolling!
The kids enjoy it though!!
Cheers,Andy Mac
