    Default Zero Clearance Safety

Finally made a Zero Clearance for my 10” Bosch SCMS using some Aussie Hardwood after finding a Zero Clearance for my 10” Bosch Contractors Saw.

And to top it all off I remade my “Mini Router Table” slightly larger.

Very satisfying for Me, Papa Smurf and Handy Smurf

    All ready for more toymaking!

Looks good. I've been meaning to make a zero clearance insert and fence for my mitre saw for a while now, but haven't got around to it. Have some finch nesting boxes to make for a friend of the wife this week, so might be a good opportunity to give the saw a birthday at the same time. I bought a couple of cheap UHMWPE kitchen cutting boards recently - think I'll use them for zero clearance inserts.

    thanks for the inspiration

I spent the afternoon making these for my metabo combination saw

they won't be any good for the rare times I want to do a bevel cut but I can easily switch back to the stock inserts

you are right, they were satisfying to make

    cheers

    Well done Hodgo
Yes you’re correct on the bevel cutting!
Easy to change out for that cut.
So much safer now for straight cuts, top marks sir!
    Cheers Peter
