    Default ahoy

    hi all,

long time reader first time poster here (groannn i hear you say).

am registering now because i am 80% of the way thru building a home studio and need advice on what i see to be the trickiest part - plastering. i went to the plastering part of the forum to post up my question but i am not allowed to post or reply in that thread. is that usual ?

anyway i have found the site to be very useful in the past and i hope i can share my experiences and possibly help others if i can. i must say im not a super-handy type but have learned a heap from this project (pretty much all the "what not to-do's") lol.

    cheers

    d00biez

    thanks art.

forgot to mention my one key learning from the project - to be VERY careful when cutting small chocs and packers on the drop saw. ripped my whole middle finger nail off and a quarter of the finger!! what a noob !!

Hi and "ouch" that sounds painful. Welcome aboard. Can't see any reason you cannot post in the other parts of the forum. Maybe you didn't sign in.
