A chip of the ole block
Hello fellow members I have just joined and I suppose you could say I have saw dust in my veins as my father was a carpenter, joiner and builder from years back when they built everything in a house. He was also a teacher of such in Tafe. I live in Sydney and have a rural property with a joint venture eucalypt plantation with State Forests and am also growing some other trees privately including a small trial of paulownias on the mid north coast of NSW. I am planning on harvesting some paulownia this year (2012) for my own use and probably to sell some. Cheers

Welcome Graemela,
I used to say I had sap in my veins but I now am more specific and say I have woodsap in my veins. I too come from, I suspect, a long line of woodworkers as my father and brother both made all manner of stuff, from wood of course.
Welcome again,
Yogi
