    Default G'day from sunny Queensland

    I've been watching the forum for a while and I'm looking forward to tapping in to the wealth of experience and good ideas that are obviously out there. I'm probably driving the wife mad laughing away in the office at some of the antics. The discussion on the super meter was a gem. I'm farming and I've got a neighbour that talks in hectacres. Perhaps it's developed under the same system.

    I enjoy cabinetmaking but seem to be being given timber faster than I can use it. I'll post a few photo's later of some bunya pine slabs I've been gradually working my way through and are keen to swap for some decent hardwood.

    Anyway, see you round.

    G'Day "Bunya Nut",
    Welcome to a top forum.
    But you got it wrong about my native Queensland;
    it sure wasn't sunny last week.
    I'd been up to see my mum, brother & his wife
    on Brisbanes north side, stayed at Redcliffe.
    Had 4 wet days and 2 fine-ish days.
    Hoping you & yours are safe & dry in Kingaroy.
    Looking forward to your photos.
    Cheers, Crowie

    Default Sunny now!

    Thanks for the welcome Crowie. We've just come out of our wet spell. 604mm in 2 months. Not bad considering our annual for the past few years has been around 660.
