G’day from New England NSW
Hi there guys, Just stumbled across the forum while looking up a bit of info on the web.. This place sounds like it’s just my kind of forum and you all seem pretty friendly and happy to share knowledge and a good old yarn.
Anyway, I’ve just reunited my shed with its former glory days and set up my work area with timber working tools instead of steel working tools and very keen to step back into some woodwork. I’m no guru but love timber! I’ve been working down through the Macleay Valley and seeing some on the old growth Rosewood and Cedar has had me frothing and chomping at the bit to start doing a bit with the tools again so here I am.
Happy to have a chat/yarn to anyone and help wherever I can, thanks guys.
Josh

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Josh".....
There are quite a good few members around New England region and cross NSW plus the rest of the country.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork......
Cheers crowie

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, it’s great to see a tight community who are happy to talk to others and share knowledge and a good old chat. I’ll try and contribute when I can, I do work out of town often so I may be unavailable from time to time..

Welcome to the forum and it's great to see you getting the urge back to get into woodworking. I have been involved with metal work most of my working life and really enjoy working with wood in my spare time. You don't have to be a guru to enjoy it so have fun.
