    Hi Patrick, welcome.

How does one at the age of 18 become a woodwork teacher?
    Cheers,

hi ed. i should have elaborated a bit more on it. basically here in ireland, woodwork is a subject in our secondary schools, and if you want to teach it you have to go to college and get a degree. ( 5 years)like what youd be teaching the children in the school wouldnt be too overly complicated, joints etc, but the college itself is a complete woodworking place, from furniture design to restoration they have it.! ive seen some of the stuff that comes out of it, and the quality is grade A!

    Thumbs up

G´day Patrick and welcome to this polyglot collection of miscreants.
Plan to visit Ireland some day and see if there is at least some sawdust left from the family tree.
