    Default G'day

G'day guy's just to say hi and a wee bit about my background. I was an Antique restorer back in the early 70's in Scotland. Not done much in that vain for many many years, however have a love of antique clocks and have about 200 or so .. not all going at the one time though ...I am going to brush up on my skills again and get back into repairing.
    Cheers to you all
    Jimmy

    Hi Jimmy, welcome.
The father of my daughter-in-low was also an antique restorer.
Now already for a long time retired, but still very busy with restoring antique for his hobby.
So work to do for you.

Well mostly for Scots, done a lot for the rich ... not me ... The company was by appointment to the Queen ... done stuff for her and lot's of lords and ladies. Some of the antiques in their houses i.e. castles ... would just blow you away ... never mind we can wish ... One item for the queen was a 400 year old oak desk ... had been fine until they put central heating in Hollyrood Palace (Edinburgh) and snap split on the top, as most will know timber is always alive even after 400 years ....
