We're all good here thanks! No aftershocks in a while, repairs around the city underway and a few demolitions (which are sad)... yeah, we're back on track

Yeah, there will be a fair bit of it- plenty of places being demolished and rebuilt, or getting jacked up and repaired (read: demolished and rebuilt). Plenty of work coming up, so start distributing fliers and placing ads now!

Looks as tho Fletchers are the 'go to guys.'

Building giant Fletcher Construction has been picked to handle the job of repairing an estimated 50,000 earthquake-damaged homes.
First repairs for those properties that need work worth between $10,000 and $100,000 should start within a fortnight.
Its first priority will be to makehomes weathertight and protect them from the elements.
The construction will run the Earthquake Commission's (EQC) Canterbury earthquake project management office.
EQC chief executive Ian Simpson said the company will take a "community-based approach'' to its task.
They will set up sites on streets throughout the region where sub-contractors will be based.
"This will give the people of Canterbury a visible presence on the ground and it will mean that small local businesses and tradespeople will be able to bid for and win work to repair properties.''
Fletchers is expected to boost its Christchruch staff as early as Monday, he said.
Building repairs valued at between $10,000 and $100,000 will be manafed through the office.
Larger claims are handled by insurance companies.
The appointment was welcomed by earthquake recovery minister Gerry Brownlee.
"I'm confident Cantabrians will benefit from the strength of a major construction firm managing the process while local builders will get a fair share of the work.''

And that is probably the best way to do it too.

It is correct to start a sentence with capital letters .
Also , it is correct , and polite , to use a capital letter when writing the name of a country , in full and , in the abbreviated form.

Of note here is that you are the one that capitalized both the h and the i in hi.
No one else in this thread did so ,which I leaves me wondering why you attributed your 'thing' to another person .
Is that common practice in the Unites States ?

Jock, looking at the post and the ad below same Id say we're dealing with a forum spammer here. We get 'em over on the ANZLF forum.....they join up, leave an often bizarely worded post that is totally irrelevant to the thread, include a weblink to a randomly selected legitimate business at the bottom of their post and then a bit later they put up a spam post.
