I've been hanging around here for a while Lone Duck, and still fel like a newbie when I read and look at some of the work here. I don't do heaps of woodworking. Nowhere near as much as I would like, but I've made a couple of really nice pieces as gifts that the recipients have loved, from woodturnings to hall tables, and everything I did to make them I learned from here. Great bunch of people and a great site.
Welcome.
