    Default G'Day from Ireland.

    Been lurking for a while now,so on our St.Patricks Day national day I hope you all have as good a day as I intend to.
    Almost 3 yrs. at the Woodturning and love it .Sorry I did'nt find out about it sooner but better late than never.71 in eight days,have a couple of new hips and had the ould ticker jumped started so am hanging in therefor all I'm worth.
    Have just been elected Hon. Sec. of The Dolmen Woodturners Chapter of the I W G we are a small group of 18 woodurners with some very good turners who have years of demonstrating behind them. We are in Co.Carlow which is very central to lots of other Chapters which gives us a lot of workshops to visit within a 50 miles radius.
    Love the Forum. Some fantastic changes been made to it since I first came across it.For the better I would say. So G'Day to you all and thanhs for having me .Slan Leat.

    hello eugene. i hope you are having a great days craic!
    i am from tyrone myself.
    been down under for 13 years now.

    i would love a pint of the black stuff but i will be getting up very early for work tomorrow!
    if i have 1 pint, i would have to have 10, so i'll be taking it easy tonight.

    what type of wood turning have you been doing?
    you will have to show us some photos of you work.

    i started off working for a company called tyrone traditional furniture, but i jumped ship so to speak and i am now working in construction.

    have a good st. paddys day and all the best.
