    Cool G'Day from Launceston. Howtheyhangin?

I'm a nut case lover of wooden boats. I have been repairing and renovating an old 40' timber Schooner. Built in Sydney for Allen Frazer in the 50's. Allen and his company made a lot of items forthe home market such as folding hangers. The boat is designed from plans written in MotorBoat 1926, by C.D.Mower. The old girl is very strongly built and sits in the water with grace, not ontop of the water like a cork.
I am also a secondary teacher and ex RAN Mobi 70's. I am always looking for things for my students to do and currently we are looking for model ship plans that we can use to creat half models and scale models.

    Welcome to the forum.

"If a man is after money, he's money mad; if he keeps it, he's a capitalist; if he spends it, he's a playboy; if he doesn't get it, he's a never-do-well; if he doesn't try to get it, he lacks ambition. If he gets it without working for it; he's a parasite; and if he accumulates it after a life time of hard work, people call him a fool who never got anything out of life."
