    Default G'day mate, texan here

I am a wood sculptor for many years and now trying my hand at scale modeling. Thought it was going to be easy . I just bought a plastic 1/35 scale model and multiply every dimension by 6, right? I dont want my stuff to look like a wooden model. I want it to look like a scale model. I am using all the materials I can get my hands on.
My current project is a 1/6 scale 155 long tom cannon. Its slow going.
I think I can make most of the pieces but dont know about the tires. I need 10 7" diameter tires with wheels. They come in at the very end so I will know whether I need to fool with it after I have finished the cannon.
