    Default g'day and seasons greetings

G'day from the upper spencer gulf in south oz. I have been visiting and picking up tips for a while and having a few chuckles at some of the banter, thought it was time I dropped a line.

I am a recently retired horticulturist, live on the coast and am renovating our humble little humpy. I enjoy the challenge of using recycled materials where practical and made a priority of erecting a decent sized work shop on moving here a few years ago. I have a lathe that is virtually unused as yet but was purchased with the intention of getting in some practise in retirement.

A terrific site and forum, good onya

Hey, welcome seriola. Have you got a camera? Because most of the regulars keep on asking for pictures, and some even get upset when told they can't see an item under discussion.

    Hi Seriola....welcome to the forums!

....must have led a sheltered life, clueless as to the "horticulture" thing.
    Cheers,
