A very warm welcome to you Mick - you live in a fabulous part of the world.
I was most impressed when visiting there years ago with all the murals on display.
Enjoy this Forum - they are a great lot.Life is short ... smile while you still have teeth.

Just a question..do you source your wood from sawmills here or just the hardwares.

Seldom hardwares unless it is for building. Being into woodwork you sometimes hear of people who are selling timber. Sometimes I put wanted to buy ads in the paper and usually get a few calls/leads.

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Mick",
There are quite a few members from Tassie plus the rest of the world.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork.
Cheers crowie
