    Default G'day from Sydney

    hi guys joined a few months ago and lost track of it over xmas. its a new year and thought id try my hand at wood carving.Ive just bought myself some new toys from carb a tec . I work in a timber yard in sydney so i have lots of wood to practice on. im looking forward to learning some techniques from all you carvers.

    Welcome Maple Flame if we keep this up there will be more carvers than turners on this forum in Sydney. We have converted one to turning already.

    thanx this is the best wood working site i have come across so far.
    and lots of great info and people.
    wheelinround ive started out on the lathe at work but not enough time to get
    serious about it, i will get back to it later.
