    Default Greetings from India

    Greetings,
I am from Greater Noida, which is a suburb of New Delhi. Its hot, dry and dusty this part of the world.
Woodwork is my favourite hobby and so is finishing. Also stuff like plumbing, electrical maintenance etc.
I cannot find people of my interest here and hope this forum would be a good place to hear from people who are interested in all this.
All are welcome to unlimited beer at my place, if they ever stumble upon this part of the world.
    Thanks and cheers!

    Hi Indranil,
Welcome to this forum. A very informative and friendly place to be.

It's been hot, dry and dusty here lately too. I'm in Melbourne in the south east of Australia and there's been days with temperatures in excess of 45 degrees and terrible and tragic bushfires with many lives lost.

I'm a learning woodcarver and also try my hand at a little non expert woodwork (a dolls house for my granddaughter).
    Hope you enjoy the forum.

    Default welcome

    Hi Indranil
Welcome to the forum. My part of Australia is permanently green. It has an average rain fall of 1500 mm per year. Last year it was over 2000 mm and too wet. I've found the forum a great place to learn, exchange ideas and, on most occassions, get answers to my problems. Enjoy the experience.

PS Don't think I'll be able to make it to your place for those unlimited beers but it is a nice offer.

Hi Indranil, Welcome and greetings. I am enjoying cool Canada right now. Nice weather here lately........about 7 degrees during the day and down to freezing at night. I'll take a rain cheque on those beers.
Hope you enjoy the forum as much as I do.

G'day Indranil. Have been to Bangalore a couple of times, and also Mangalore for a weekend with my wife's relatives. All 28 of them. Our next trip over will be taking in Mumbai and your area to see the rest of the relatives.

Don't know when that will be but keep the Kingfishers on ice.

Hope you enjoy these forums. I certainly do.

    That's a tough one!
Free accommodation is not a problem but the meals - my wife will kill me on that one!
Regardless, we can give it a shot once you're here.

    Welcome Indranil!

My daughter is getting married in Dehli soon. With all that free beer on offer, maybe we can swing by your place for the reception!

I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.
