Greetings from Italy
Hello everyone
This is Paolo, from northern Italy.
I spent a lot of time as an amateur woodworker, mainly doing CNC boxes and lightweight furniture.
In the past few years I focused on wood chatoyance, and I am here to share some results with the community.

Welcome Paolo
Welcome Paolo, I had to look up Chatoyance ,it was'nt a term I had heard before. If you will pardon me I have posted a link for others that may be unaware of this.
Be a pleasure having you with us here to share your experiences with chartoyance.

Thanks everyone
I will post something about chatoyance, to provide some more explanation with respect to the above article.
I still need to figure out how to post pictures!
Anyway, it's great to see so many people talking about woodworking!

G'Day & Welcome to the Great Southern Land and to a top forum "Paolo"......
There are quite a few members from across the USA and the rest of the world.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Especially a top mob of blokes on the toymaking & scale modeling section of the forum.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork.....
Cheers from On Top DownUnder, crowie
OPPS - I Just reread your post saying you are from Italy , apologies... But we do have a good number of members from the EU too! Cheers.....

I will dig out some old pictures... In the last years I mainly worked on research about wood chatoyance, so I can only show thousands of samples
