    Default hello all

    Good day all!

This is really awesome that i have found this place. I have always been into older sailing vessels. I would love to make a old dutch yachts from the late 1600's I would also love to make a small sailing craft for the local lakes around here. I am also into blacksmithing. Though, i don't know many things about it due to the time i work and the time of the local blacksmith clubs meeting times.

Anyway, I hope to have some fun here discussing things and sharing ideas.

    Hi Joshua, welcome.
Working on old vessels is a grateful job.
A Belgium forum member of my Dutch woodwork forum does the same in Antwerp.
Restoring stearingwheels and bodyparts of old wooden vessels etcetera.
I think you are for that here in the right forum, you can meet here a lot of boatbuilders.
    Have fun.

    Thumbs up

G'day Joshua and welcome to the site.

Although my Details say I live in Brisbane I actually live in the city of Logan which borders Brisbane. So, we have another thing in common apart from an interest in woodwork.
