Thread: Hello from brisbane

Hi,

I've been meaning to look for a forum like this for some time. I’m a total newbie when it comes to making stuff out of wood and have only the basic of tools.

In terms of wood making projects, I made a lego table for my kids a little while ago. I've got some build pics here. Table was a big hit but limited in size so I’m now needing to make a Lego Table MK2.

This time I want to do a much better job, having it squared and leveled properly will probably help too. 8-) I’m thinking that it won’t be painted but rather timber stained. As always, this will probably be difficult without the right tools so I might need to grab a new saw or two from Bunnings.

This is a rough sketch of what I was thinking for a mk2 table:

Possibly much more than I am capable of doing though.
