    Hello all,
    my name is Claude, I'm 58 years, I'm living in the east part of France (Strasbourg) near the german border.
    I'm a newbie in woodturning and I have a lot of things to learn ; I found the forum while searching informations on shear scraping (and I found those
    I own a mini lathe (chinese copy from Jet) and a Nova 1624-44 lathe.

    Hi Claude,
    Welcome to the forum. I have wonderful memories of spending 5 days in Strasbourg over Christmas 2001. Nothing like a white christmas. Doesn't happen down here, usually about 30 degrees plus (in the shade)

    I've been to Strasbourg a couple of times and quite like it there, mainly for the choucroute, tarte flambé and vins d'alsace...
