    Default Hello from Goulburn Valley!

    Hi all,

    I'm actually from Melbourne, spent a few years in Byron Bay, travelled the US and Europe last year and have ended up in the Goulburn Valley, temporarily at least!

    Unfortunately, I will be able to offer absolutely nothing in terms of woodwork advice at this stage, but hopefully down the track I can pass on knowledge that I pick up here!! I did a carpentry pre-apprenticeship a few years ago, but the timing wasn't right to take up the apprenticeship. I certainly haven't ruled out completing it yet, though at 30, it's a decision I'll have to make sooner rather than later.

    This is the first time that I've had space and a setup that will allow me to attempt some basic weekend projects. I'm sure they'll be rough to begin with but that's ok!

    I'm really looking forward to the education by browsing the forum, asking questions and receiving advice!

    There are a few members around Central Victoria and with a heap in Melbourne...
    You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
    Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.

    Welcome to the forum. Don't be concern about participating in discussions. Most of us are hobbyists and the forum is very diverse.

    The beauty of this forum is people are generally friendly and some are humorous. After all life was not meant to be hard.(I like this version better).
