    Default Hello from Illawarra ,NSW

    Hey everyone,
I’m new here, live in the Illawarra area and am just starting to get in to woodworking after many years of wondering.

My first proper project was a wooden truck for my nephew. Just made from oak from Bunnings but had a great time doing it. I’ll post some pics when I work of out how.

I’m also really keen to get a lathe and start turning as I’ve had a few I dead rolling string in my head for various plates and bowls for a while.

Hope to see you all around. Cheers.

Here’s the Ute I made. The payload is held on with magnets so can be swapped out.
doors and window carvings are a little rough but pretty happy with how it turned out for a first try.
