Thread: Hello from Tassie

Hi everyone. New member here from Hobart. I have just acquired my first ever garage (attached to our first ever home), and have celebrated with the purchase of an old SCM l’invincible C35 combination machine (I may have told my wife it would result in reduced maintenance costs moving forward…). I’ve dabbled around the edges of basic woodworking in the past to make speakers and the odd bit of basic furniture, but I’m looking to get more into it so I can restore and maintain our new home and attempt some fancier furniture design. Hoping it will also be a good bonding experience with my kids when they’re a little bit older (currently five and three respectively) - at least I hope to make them “stuff” in the meantime! Looking forward to learning lots from you all, and helping out where I can. Cheers Paul
