    Default Hi from Melbourne

    Hi everyone,

    I have recentley joined the forum and am looking forward to getting back into my woodwork. I had to get rid of my workshop a couple of years back as I had to move and did not have the space in the new place. So hard to sell all my tools. I will be moving again in a couple of months and am looking forward to setting up a new workshop.

    Most of the furniture I have made was using recycled and reclaimed timbers, like giving and old piece of timber new life. I have recentley purchased a welder (am teaching myself to weld) and want to incorporate some modern steel work with old and weathered looking timber. Looks good in my head but will have to wait and see what the finished product looks like.

    Looking forward to recieving advise from menbers and hopefully contributing as well.

    You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
    make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo especially WIP photos with build notes.
