Thread: Hi From Newcastle

I'm getting close to retirement (about 2 years away) and have spent the last few years converting my garage to a workshop and setting up equipment. have the usual sort of machines thanks to Triton and GMC. More interested in making furniture such as tables, side-boards etc than turning. I use the lathe for things such as table legs. One of the items I will be interested in is timber finishing as most of what I have done so far has been finished with polyurathene. Sure I will get all the good oil here.
