    Default Howdy from Porter,Texas

    Howdy from Porter, Texas.

my name is Don Vann --- vanngo5d
i started turning pens about a year and half ago after my pen of 7 years broke and I couldn't find a suitable replacement. I've always have done some kind of woodworking for as long as I can remember. I feel you can never learn everything but try to learn as much as you can or at least what you love doing.
i look forward to reading and learning from the forum from overseas. This is the easiest way to learn from the other side of the world without the travel expense.

    Don Vann

Welcome Don, a great bunch of people meet here, a great forum for all things woodworking.
    Cheers, Ian

G'Day & Welcome "DownUnder" "Don Vann",
There are quite a few blokes from USA on the forum including some from the Lone Star State.
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP photos with build notes.
    Enjoy the forum.
    Enjoy your woodworking.
Cheers from "On Top DownUnder" crowie
