    Default Howdy y'all

No I’m not a yank, I’m just listening to some bluegrass music and it’s rubbed off on me.

Just joined up ‘cause I was searching for some info on routers and this forum popped up with some great info.

As my username suggests I’m not a spring chicken, live in Yamba NSW and have been pottering with wood on and off for some time but am still learning. I’ve done a fair bit of marquetry in the past 30 years and have taken up carving recently.

    Cheers
    Zol

Not so much a price point but rather a 'fit for purpose'. I already have two plunge routers but neither offer easy adjustment for use as a home built table router. I've gone with a 700 watt Chinese copy of a Makita because this is something that I WANT as opposed to NEED.

    G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Zol" .....
There are quite a few members in & around that northern NSW with a stack members cross the rest of the country.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
    Enjoy the forum.
    Enjoy your woodwork......
    Cheers crowie
