Smile introducing and a question; Sharp drill Press SE330B

I am Dimitri from Belgium and would like to thank you for allowing me to join your forum.
I accidentally came to your forum while researching a Sharp drill Press machine SE330B. We are looking for the spindle shaft with part number 58 what is broken in our machine. Apparently difficult to obtain. Someone more info about this part.

    Welcome to our mad-house, Dimitri.

I've no idea where one would source a new part for those old girls, but the Sharp SE330B was produced in large numbers and built solidly enough that they're a fairly common second-hand item around here and can often be bought in reasonable condition for about $AU150.

If you could locate a new part, I suspect it'd cost you nearly as much.

Are they as common in Europe as they are here?
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.

G'Day & Welcome to the Great Southern Land and to a top forum.
There are quite a few members from the Europe and many from UK plus of course the rest of the world.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
    Enjoy the forum.
    Enjoy your woodwork...
Cheers from On Top DownUnder, crowie
