    Default newbie looking for help

    g'day all brand spanking new to this .Just started retirement a month ago and thought i better start using the tools i been collecting over the years .Apart from the saws drills jigsaws ect I allso accuired a lathe (still in the box) not a clue how to use it yet ,Allso just picked up an old triton workbench,payment for a small brickwork job i done for the lady.Once again not a clue how to assemble it or what pieces are missing from it ,So looking for help in all departments As regards to actualy building anything of note ,my biggest thing is toyboxes for the grandkids, a carpenter i am not !!!!!,I wouild like to get this triton up and running as I may for the 1st time acualy cut a piece of wood straight ,though i would not put money on it

    Hi Frankie, Welcome Im still trying to work out how to cut straight wood lol. Soon to retire I hope. Then I can practise all day every day.

    Welcome to the forum.

    I started on the Tirton about three years ago. Still using it as something prevents me from getting rid of it. Space and Money.

    Post in the Tirton area and I am sure someone will be able to give you a hand.

    thanks all>>>> i think i find these forums as difficult to use as i do cutting a straight line ..I am in a couple of them (caravan, 4wd) and have the same problem navigating them as this one hopefully all will be sorted one day
