    Default newbie from overseas

    Hi,
i'm a Belgian who moved to Slovenia.
After renovating our house, I wanted to continue with the home-made stuff. So I watched some youtube on how to make a nice kitchenstep for our son. I bought some hobby jointer and an old saw and got to work.
The jointer only lasted me one job and already gave up on the lark I was using. So after some search I got my hands on an old combine machine aprox 50-60ies. one like this, but in its original paint

I crafted some high beds for the garden, which you can find on our webpage hisa-lenart.si and continued with a simple grillshed in the garden, a table from the left overs and some extra kid beds for our guests and our son.

last week i layed my hands on an 40 year old bandsaw with is in great condition and the woodworkers virus stayed ( and my wife rolled her eyes yesterday ) when I bought another antique beltsanding machine which I go and pick up in two weeks I think now my little workshop is as good to go into full production and I won't be watching television anymore.

I hope to learn some stuff from the forum and be able to get some answers in the future when I problems pass my path.

    greetings Steven

Welcome to the forum Steven. That looks like a beautiful area where you have your rooms for rent and the garden beds look like they are well built and the crop well nurtured. Some nice projects you have completed so far for your accomodation but not quite sure that this is quite right "The second project we created is a new 50 square meter grill area, with outdoor kitchen and new smoker girll"
Good pickup with the combination machine. It looks very heavy but should do your work without any effort being so solid.

    Cheers,
    Dallas
