    Default New member from Perth

    Hi everyone and thanks for having me!

    Pretty novice mid 30s wood turner in Perth here. I started off with carving a bit of green wood working (spoons, cups etc) for a few years before being given a vintage Jet mini lathe and a couple of scrapers last year. I now have a rusty, clanky old reeves drive Sherwood which has given me more swing but also more frustration!

    I'm having fun just trying out different things and getting a hang of the tools and finishes - bowls, plates, boxes, utensils, stands, mozzie coil holders etc. Here's my current display of my proudest items.
