Thread: another poor chippy

hi all, my name is daniel and i'm a carpenter. i love my work but hate my job! i live in the sunshine coast hinterland in south east QLD and after being a tradie 4 18 of my 34 years i have decided to leave the industry to others who think they know better. there is no quality anymore, no skill, just top heavy companies offering supermarket style homes like the one next door! slab on ground,pre nailed frames,trusses that r so easy that anyone could build a roof. what happend to style?...where is the individuality...what of all those years learning just to be a glorified labourer with a QBSA lisense?i quit!!!!!
