crowie - very astute choice of thread It was in fact that thread that has dragged Marv over here - he's part of the action on Woodnet regarding the petition.

Now I don't know Marv, but I asked Mark Harrell from BadAxe saws to have a look down the signatories and tell me "who are the people who really know what they are doing with a saw" and he picked out Marv amongst a handful of others. That can only mean one of two things - it's the truth.....or Marv has a shed full of BadAxes, and Mark can be bought . I strongly suspect the former.

Marv, with your membership here, once you reach ten posts things change, as they realise you not a spammer etc. That's why all your initial posts are held back for scrutiny. IIRC you can only store one PM until then as well.You're name will change from red too.

Somehow, the mods read just about every post that goes on here, but after the event mostly. It's an enormous task, particularly some of my long posts .
