Default Long time lurker first time poster

    Hi Everyone,
As the title states I have been looking at this forum for a long time without posting and I thought it time I introduce myself and thank everyone for their contribution to this wonderful resource. I can't imagine what it would be like if everyone in this forum got together in the same room.... with all the experts, some self proclaimed!!! and all the possionate hobbyists with or without talent such as myself, and all the people who just love to look at beautiful woodwork. It would certainly be an experience. I have recently entered this world of wood and I'm finding the hardest thing about it is narrowing down excactly what I like the best and practicing that....... I cannot get enough of outdoor furniture just carved out of large peices of timber with a chainsaw and a little finishing... And anything to do with deep red timbers and burls. The intricate joinery which looks like it takes decades to master. I'm in the process of deciding on a chainsaw mill...not sure whether to get an alaskan or a dedicated mill ie. procut or bigger a lucas. If i don't get back to post before xmas may all have a good one!!!

Welcome to the forum but intending to post once a month, ok merry Christmas.
I agree that having everyone in one room would be interesting. Just means so many different opinions.
