Default TORMEK SVD-186 Gouge Jig upgrade

Well they are finally here the all new Tormek SVD-186 Gouge Jig.

This replaces the SVD-185 jig which worked very well but as with all things Tormek they are always looking at improving.

The SVD-186 has a larger opening so can accomodate a gouge up to 32mm and the new clamp piece can hold the smallest of tools.

Probably the best upgrade is the dedicated indents on the angle setting, now if you want the No 2 setting you get a definite indent the same with all other settings.

Tormek have made a good jig better.

    Have a look here.

Jim, you can always send one up to me for "quality" testing . . . should only take me a decade or so

Dave it has positive indents so no guessing where you are or if you have the correct position.

Just another way of making sure you get that Tormek repeatability
