    Default Dry wood weights

I have searched the forum, I have searched the net, I have looked far and wide, I have been left thirsting for the quest of knowledge that I know exists amongst the many wonderful members of the Woodies.

Now, having paved the way with suitable palaver and unsupported gifts of flattery and adulation, may I be so bold as to ask if anyone should know where I might get a Dry wood weight scale in writing, not one to measure with.

It would be so excellent if this scale of weights included Australian soft wood along with the more used for furniture hardwoods.

To try to clarify, this scale is like saying that Iron Bark weighs 10kg per square foot, if in fact that Iron Bark actually does come in at that rate.

I looked up Camphor Laurel and found that dry is 570kg/m3. Is that a correct measurement that I can calculate from or do small bits have a less by ratio dryness.

I may be barking up the wrong tree (Just a little jest there to lighten up the furrowed brows) But is there such a 'scale' available.

    Thanks in advance folks
    BB.

I have just come home from the big smoke after having a nasty cut out of my lung. Not looking for an "Aw! Poor BB" but to let you know that I am a bit slowed down for awhile.

Just one or two Aws! Will be appreciated though.
