Web Site Suggestion
I wonder when I look at this forum the reason why it isn't utilised more.
There must be lots of folk out there that can share their ideas thru this forum.
Perhaps we could use this forum for posting URLS for websites that would make it easier for people to find rather than doing a BB site search!
Anybody got any thoughts on this....Neil,....anyone?
Just a thought.

Like a lot of people I probably have a lot of ideas but they do not come to light until someone asks the question. Likewise I would imagine that a lot of users have a standard of practice that they assume that everyone else is aware of until a question is posed.
eg: When drilling using a forstner bit on a long piece of timber I use the post on the drill press to stop the ttimber spinning and use my left hand to hold it down.
I would assume that everyone would know/do this.
Not a criticism John, just my thoughts.Stupidity kills. Absolute stupidity kills absolutely.

Fair comment Iain,I thought that possibly as this forum was found lacking due to everybody putting their tips and websites in the relative forums then perhaps Neil would agree to this forum being a links forum to WW Web-sites whereby folk could perhaps type the sector relative and then the URL along side.

It's your forum do with it as you will. If posting url's is what it takes by all means go for it.
What do you want me to do? Rename it? Open a new Favourite Links Forum? What?

Cheers Neil,the post was only in mind to perhaps have a forum dedicated to links thru URLS, given that an url could be considered as a tip then this forum would be utilised more.
If folk then recognised this forum as the one to post their address's it would keep the BB tidier for searchs.
Just a couple of 2c worth of thought Neil.
