    Default New grill / smoker

Just picked it up last night. Isn't it a peach? Firebox is an old wood burning stove.

I will never be the person who has everything, not when someone keeps inventing so much cool new stuff to buy.

From an early age my father taught me to wear welding gloves . "Its not to protect your hands son, its to put out the fire when u set yourself alight".

The menu will be mostly pork, but I can easily see some beef brisket going on there as well. I have a herd of black Angus cattle and I raise hogs in the winter so meat isn't a problem around here. Might even try smoking some whole chickens in there. Chopped chicken barbecue is pretty good. Just fired it up for the first time today. Took me an hour and a pile of wood to get it up to temperature. Got an eight pound butt roast (pork) on there right now so the wife and I can have some pulled pork barbecue sandwiches for dinner. Macaroni salad, baked beans, and corn on the cob will round things out. Who's hungry?
