    Default Rotisserie I made

I wanted some way of working on trailers etc at different angles, including upside down.

I cam across a nice design from someone on weldingweb.com so I had a crack at making it.

The main body is 40x40x5mm rhs, the bit that slides up and down the pole is 50x50x4mm RHS.

The winches I got off ebay and they are not your standard cheap winch either. they are designed to handle a fair bit of weight and have an auto brake mechanism built in.

Seems to work well so far.

Here is some pics in action

Very nice work, for it's purpose it'd pay for itself quicktime. I must admit, when I looked at the topic, I was expecting to see a leg of lamb above some hot coals!

    Love it, absolutely love it.
And fully adjustable for different length trailers.
It makes an annoying aspect of building/repairing a trailer a real pleasure.
Looks easy to store away as well.
I reckon it was well worth doing surfin.

    Real neat Surfin!
I especially like how the long brace is practically on the floor to minimise stepping over it. That was an annoying feature of a chinese-made item, that I assembled for a mate.
What weight will this design handle? Of course I have a car in mind
    thanks,

I'd like to see a series of holes in each upright to allow a bolt to be inserted as a safeguard against a winch failing/being knocked and allowing one end to drop whilst under or near it.

A trailer weighs enough to cause some serious damage.
