Drilling hubs question ?
A friend has asked me to build him a custom 8 x 5 box trailer, single axle with Landcruiser hubs and electric brakes.
He wants to use the same wheels as the tow vehicle - Mitsubishi Triton 4x4 with 7x15 Sunraysias.
Question is, is it as simple as pressing out the studs and drilling hub and drum to the new pattern? (on a H & F mill/drill).
Anything else to watch for?

Are tritons 6 stud, have you tried the wheels? most utes are 6 stud and most are the same PCD... triton wheels could possibly fit the cruiser hubs.
I think the 16x8 Sunraiser's on my bravo are the same part number as a cruiser in the Speedywheels catalog.....................................................................

I don't remember where, but I'm sure I saw somewhere that they aren't a direct fit.

They are the same.
6 stud L/Cruiser is the same as erery other manufacturer's 6 stud pattern. From the 100 series, Toyota changed to a 5 stud LandCruiser, and late model Mitsubishis have a smaller hub snout that wont allow you put late model wheels on early model vehicles, but if he's running Sunraysia wheels all round, then it's not a problem.Too many projects, so little time, even less money! Are you a registered member? PCD is the same but what about the bore. Will the rims fit the cruiser hubs? Cruiser are 107mm, Triton 105mm as far as I am aware.

Thanks guys.
I'll be picking up the hubs after I get the frame organised, looks like the cruiser wheels would be a close enough match that no-one will notice any difference.
