Default Acacia and Victorian Ash Home Office Desk

I could not resist a dry assembly run before sanding and finishng.

The end frames and stretchers are made from 32x65 mm Victorian Ash. There are three stretchers - two are under the desktop and are not visible (unfortunately - it's such a nice timber when well finished)

The top is laminated Acacia - You can get 25x600x1800 panels from this material from hardware stores. The panel is made from short 25x60 offcuts of material glued together. I liked the breadboard effect.

All joints are mortice and tenon. I would like to give oil a try for the finish. Never did that before for a large job like this.
