Advice needed... How to sell custom made cabinetry?
Hey all
I am looking to sell a custom made cabinet and not too sure where to start (ive attached some pics).
The cabinet is 4,720mm long, 820mm high and 545mm deep.
The top consists of 3 long planks of Jarrah.
In total the cabinet has 5 x double door compartments and one open compartment.
It was comissioned by the previous owner of my home, she said it cost ~$5,000 to be built but not sure how accurate that is. We need to clear it out to make way for more play room for the kids. The cabinet appears very well made, very solid, fancy hinges that let the doors slide in when open etc...
Any idea how much a long cabinet like this may be worth and how to go about selling it?
Being over 4m long it cant be transported easily (cant fit it on roof racks!) so may have to be dismantled to move.

Ebay and trading post are options. If it is offered as pick up only then the person buying has to move it. A small truck would be required and a few big blokes to load it.
Other places to try are your local paper or post for sale notes in some local shops and or community center.
