    Default First (and last?) bed

    I made this bed for my son and his wife. It's made in solid white oak. The mitres are uneven so required some funny angles. An old cabinet maker told me that they are called b@st@rd mitres - now I know why.

    Anyhow, it took a while to make as I pondered each challenge and eventually came up with a solution. Overall I'm happy with the outcome, but if I had my time over again I'd change the way I did a few things.
