    Default Bit Cabinet

Here is a little cabinet I knocked up for the workshop over the past two weekends.

Nothing to get excited about. Just scrap wood - Jarrah-veneered MDF for the case, mitred corners. The drawers are dovetailed (what do you expect!), with drawer fronts from a Merbau panel, and drawer sides/back from a Tasmanian Oak panel. 1/4" ply for the bottoms.

Tucked in between the bench and a long cabinet along the wall ...

Inside the cabinet I have finally found a home for all my bits.

Twist drill bits in Imperial and Metric, along with Festool Centrotec bits, plug cutters and countersinks ...

Brad points and masonry bits ...

Forstner bits. These are both Imperial and Metric, arranged in size and marked ...

    1/2" router bits ...

    .. and 1/4" router bits ...

Hope this may help some here.

    Regards from Perth
    Derek

Great idea Derek. I really like being able to see things like bits without having to open endless boxes etc.

    Shouldn't that read:

"Inside the cabinet I have finally found a home for all my existing bits."

Looks great, I think this would look lovely inside a home too
