Bookshelves
My son-in-law asked for a six feet bookshelf to match his chest of drawers and bedside tables.
First, a sketch. The unit is under 900 mm high as it needed to fit under a window.

The guts of the unit was assembled in two phases because my longest clamps are five feet long. In the pic below you can see the right angled bracket to which the unit is clamped to keep everything square.

This pic also shows the right angled clamp, this time as the second stage of the guts were assembled. The guts uses dado joints, cut with my dado blades and a sled made for dado cuts.

The finished unit in its final resting place. Daisy the Neapolitan mastiff approved the job. She sniffed it, lay down beside it and went to sleep. The tall chest of drawers in the background is also made with NG Rosewood.

A very practical unit that will fit a lot of books of different sizes. 👍 Great Work
