Well, that depends on the quality of your turning! No staining, they burnished up a treat from all of the handling today.

It's looking really well, but I hope you're going to plane off that back corner between the pintles!

The first collar is finished except for the keyway which BD will cut to suit the keys he will be making. The design is very simple, just a rounded edge. Dimensions are 2.25" diameter by three-eighths in thickness. Being so small I used the faceplate of the Record Power for the first time. No dramas in breaking it off the faceplate but I think I'll use an extra sheet of paper next time.

thanks WW. According to BD his oyster topped one has to have a flanged washer. Must make appointment with optician but can't read phone book.
