    Default Cabinet Maker Required-Perth

    Hi Everyone,
I'm after a cabinet maker who is interested in a long term project. I have some beautiful Lemon Scented Gums that need to come out but one in particular is a nice straight tree and would be perfect for furniture. I need some built in / custom cabinet in the lounge and if there is any excess timber then maybe some coffee or side tables. If possible I would also like to be able to use the roots/stump as well (I like raw edge/rustic timber pieces). So if anyone is interested in turning the trees into furniture I would love it if you could contact me.
    Cheers
    Alison

    Hi Alison,

I don't think you need to worry about a cabinetmaker at this stage. What you should be calling for is someone to fell the trees, have them milled/slabed and stacked and left to dry for the next 3 to 5 years.

Yes, they're in a front yard, there aren't any problems/restrictions with felling them

Can you post some pics showing how close they are to buildings, roads etc and are you hoping the miller will also fall them for you?
