    Default Childs Rocking Chair

Back in late 2012 I posted a WIP on a Tasmanian blackwood rocking chair that I made. Now some two years later I have made another one - half size, for my granddaughter. Many say that it is quarter size forgetting that half size works in two dimensions. The timber is Tasmanian blackwood once again. The process is exactly the same as for the big chair. This chair I felt was a little more fiddly as you don't have much room for correcting any oops with such small timber. The chair was given as a Christmas present last December. Trust this is of interest to some. Regards.

If he gets it without working for it; he's a parasite; and if he accumulates it after a life time of hard work, people call him a fool who never got anything out of life."
